Clash Squad (CS) is very different from the Battle Royale mode. It is a fast-paced, 4v4 deathmatch where economy management and team coordination matter more than survival skills.

Whether you are playing CS Ranked to get that Heroic emblem or just warming up, you need a strategy. In this guide, we will break down how to win the pistol round, manage your money, and choose the best characters for this mode.

1. Mastering the Economy (Buying Phase)

Unlike Battle Royale, you don't loot guns; you buy them. If you spend all your money in one round and die, you will be broke in the next round.

Round 1: The Pistol Round

This is the most important round. Winning this gives your team more money for Round 2.

  • M500: Only buy this if you are confident in hitting one-tap headshots.
  • G18 / USP-2: Buy these if you prefer "spraying" bullets at close range.
  • Pro Strategy: Sometimes, it is better to buy a Katana or Grenade instead of a gun upgrade, and just use the default USP to save money for Round 2.

Prioritize Armor Over Guns

The Golden Rule of CS: Never buy an expensive gun if you don't have a Mushroom (EP) and Vest/Helmet. A player with an MP40 and no armor will die faster than a player with a UMP and Level 2 Armor.

2. Best Characters for Clash Squad

Some characters are great in Battle Royale but useless in Clash Squad. In CS, matches are short, and the map is small.

Character Why they dominate CS?
Antonio Essential. He gives you extra Shield Points at the start of every round. This extra HP wins 1v1 duels.
Wukong Since maps are small, Wukong allows you to get a kill, turn into a bush, move, and get another kill.
Orion In close-quarters combat, Orion's ability to become invincible and drain enemy HP is overpowered.
Clu Because the map is small, Clu can reveal the location of the entire enemy team instantly.

3. Map Positioning & Tactics

Stop rushing straight down the middle! This is how you get sniped.

The Flanker Role

In a 4v4 setup, one person should always Flank (go around the side). While 3 teammates distract the enemy at the front, the flanker sneaks behind them to get easy kills.

High Ground Advantage

Maps like Clock Tower and Pochinok have rooftops. Secure the high ground early. It is much easier to get headshots when looking down than looking up.

4. Utility Usage

In Clash Squad, grenades are deadly because enemies are usually grouped together.

The "Cooked" Grenade

Don't just throw grenades immediately. Hold the fire button to "cook" the grenade until the timer is at 2 seconds. Throw it so it explodes the moment it touches the enemy. They won't have time to run.

Pro Tip: Always buy at least 2 Gloo Walls. In Clash Squad, if you get knocked down in the open, you are finished. A Gloo Wall is the only thing that allows your teammate to revive you.

Conclusion

Winning in Clash Squad is about momentum. Win the pistol round, manage your money wisely, and stick with your team. Stop playing solo in a 4v4 mode!

Equip Antonio, buy that Mushroom, and go get those stars! See you in the Grandmaster tier.
