To find it, you need to break out of jail (or break in!).

Step-by-Step Guide to Access the Power Grid

Follow these steps carefully to navigate the vents and find the generator room.

Step 1: Enter the Police Station

Head to the main Police Station in the town center. Walk past the front desk and head into the holding cell area (the jail).

Step 2: The Jail Cell Vent

Go into the first jail cell. Look up at the ceiling or the top of the wall near the bunk bed.

  • Jump onto the top bunk.
  • Jump again to reach the Vent Cover.
  • Walk into the vent (it is a fake wall) to enter the hidden crawlspace.

Step 3: Finding the Generator

Once you are in the vents, it can be easy to get lost.

  1. Crawl straight until you reach a junction.
  2. Look for a small opening that leads to a room with large, humming machinery.
  3. Drop down into this room. You are now in the Secret Electric Room.

Pro Tip: In some versions of the map, you need a Keycard to access the deeper doors. Make sure to grab the blue keycard from the police desk before entering the vents!

How to Turn Off the Power (The Blackout)

Now that you are in the room, you will see glowing blue lights and electrical boxes.

  • Look for the main power panel or the glowing blue tubes.
